Volleyball Game Preview: West Caldwell Warriors vs. Draughn Wildcats

West Caldwell is 0-5 against Draughn since September of 2019 but things could change on Thursday. The Warriors will venture away from home to challenge the Wildcats at 5:30 p.m.

West Caldwell lost 3-0 to Patton on Tuesday.

West Caldwell was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the first set very close. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-15, 25-17.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Draughn took on Hibriten on Tuesday. The Wildcats came out on top against the Panthers by a score of 3-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Wildcats.

Draughn had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 12-25, 25-18, 25-18, 25-18.

Draughn's win bumped their record up to 13-5. As for West Caldwell, their loss dropped their record down to 4-14.

West Caldwell suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Draughn in their previous meeting back in September. Can the Warriors avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
