Volleyball Recap: West Delaware Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for West Delaware, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Maquoketa Valley Wildcats by a score of 2-0 on Saturday. The victory was some much needed relief for the Hawks as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

West Delaware's win bumped their record up to 14-4. As for Maquoketa Valley, their defeat was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 6-11.

West Delaware wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Independence on the 20th. As for Maquoketa Valley, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Vinton-Shellsburg on the 20th.
