Basketball Recap: Greenfield Wins Going Away Against North Salinas

Greenfield won the last time they faced North Salinas and things went their way on Monday too. The Greenfield Bruins greeted the New Year with with a 63-46 victory over the North Salinas Vikings.

Despite the loss, North Salinas still got an impressive performance from Andre Lizaola, who posted six points and three steals. Jayden Guevara was another key player, putting up 11 points and six rebounds.

Greenfield's win bumped their record up to 7-4. As for North Salinas, they now have a losing record at 6-7.

Greenfield will venture away from home to face off against Soledad at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for North Salinas, they will square off against St. Francis at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. St. Francis has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
