Recap: Deer Park Stags vs. Riverside Rams
The Deer Park Stags had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 20 points), and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They walked away with a 24-12 win over Riverside. For Deer Park, this counts as revenge for the 24-6 loss Riverside walked away with the last time they faced one another back in October of 2022.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Deer Park to victory, but perhaps none more so than Liam Bogle, who rushed for 48 yards and two touchdowns. Deer Park also got a significant boost from Jack Martinez, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 115 yards.
Deer Park has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season. As for Riverside, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-5.
Deer Park will head out on the road to face off against Colville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Colville is coming into the game on a three-game losing streak. As for Riverside, they will be playing at home against Lakeside at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Lakeside is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt want to keep things rolling.
