Soccer Recap: Cheyenne Mountain Finds Home Pitch Redemption Against Discovery Canyon

There's no place like home for Cheyenne Mountain, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Discovery Canyon Thunder on Thursday. Cheyenne Mountain have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw Discovery Canyon, too.

Clare Jones and Madi Pittman scored all three of Cheyenne Mountain's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 12 goals.

Cheyenne Mountain's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-3-1. The home wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 14 goals over those four games. As for Discovery Canyon, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-5.
