Soccer Game Preview: South Bend Riley vs. Elkhart Christian Academy

The South Bend Riley Wildcats will face off against the Elkhart Christian Academy Eagles at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday. South Bend Riley's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

It was a proper cat-fight when South Bend Riley took on New Prairie on Wednesday. The Wildcats fell just short of the Cougars by a score of 1-0.

Meanwhile, Elkhart Christian Academy kept a clean sheet against North Miami on Thursday. They blew past the Warriors 9-0. Elkhart Christian Academy might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 13 matches by three goals or more this season.

Elkhart Christian Academy's victory bumped their record up to 14-0. As for South Bend Riley, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-8-1.

South Bend Riley suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Elkhart Christian Academy in their previous meeting back in September of 2024. Can the Wildcats avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
