Softball Game Preview: Gar-Field Red Wolves vs. Forest Park Bruins

Gar-Field hasn't had much luck against Forest Park recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. Gar-Field will head out to square off against Forest Park at 6:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Friday just wasn't the day for Gar-Field's offense. They came up short against Woodbridge on Friday, falling 22-0. The loss leaves the Red Wolves still looking for their first win of the season.

Gar-Field saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ariana Biddle, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

Meanwhile, Forest Park was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 12-3 to Charles J. Colgan.

Forest Park's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Gar-Field, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-5.

Gar-Field suffered a grim 15-5 defeat to Forest Park in their previous meeting back in April of 2024. Can Gar-Field avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
