Baseball Game Preview: Macomb Bombers vs. Brown County Hornets

The Macomb Bombers will head out to square off against the Brown County Hornets at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Macomb is coming into the game on a four-game losing streak dating back to last season.

Macomb lost 11-1 to Plainfield East on Friday.

Macomb saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Langdon Lambert, who went 2-for-3 with one home run.

Meanwhile, Brown County gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Wednesday. They were the clear victors by a 17-2 margin over Camp Point Central.

Macomb's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Brown County, their win bumped their record up to 1-0.
