            St. Albans came out on top against Riverside  on Tuesday thanks in part to the team's impressive five-run fifth inning. The Red Dragons put the hurt on the Warriors with a sharp  8-2 victory. Considering the Red Dragons have won eight matchups by more than five  runs this season, Tuesday's  blowout was nothing new.

 Ava Bentley spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered  just two earned runs on three hits and racked up 14 Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't  tossed less than five  strikeouts in 22 consecutive appearances.

St. Albans' win  ended  a  five-game drought on the road  and  puts them at 13-10. As for Riverside, their loss  ended  a  ten-game streak of wins at home  and  dropped them to 19-10.
St. Albans will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Warriors: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled  at 6:30  p.m.  on Wednesday.
