Volleyball Recap: Castaic Takes a Loss

Castaic was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the West Ranch Wildcats. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 on March 4th.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-17, 25-15.

Castaic's defeat dropped their record down to 9-8. As for West Ranch, they have been performing well recently as they've won 11 of their last 13 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-4 record this season.

Castaic will be taking part in a tournament against Quartz Hill at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for West Ranch, they are taking a road trip to challenge Canyon at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Canyon will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something West Ranch surely won't give up without a fight.
