Softball Recap: Bremond Takes a Loss

After flying high against Bartlett last Friday, Bremond came back down to earth. Bremond came up short against the Thorndale Bulldogs on Tuesday, falling 14-4. The defeat continues a trend for the Tigers in their meetings with the Bulldogs: they've now lost four in a row.

Addyson Young made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and got on base in all three of her plate appearances with one home run and two runs. The team also got some help courtesy of Samantha Lenamom, who went 1-for-2 with one home run.

Bremond's loss dropped their record down to 5-3. As for Thorndale, they pushed their record up to 6-3 with the win, which was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season.

Coincidentally, Bremond and Thorndale will both be playing Chilton the next time they take the field. Thorndale will host Chilton at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, while Bremond will host them at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
