Baseball Recap: Mingus Takes a Loss

Mingus's last matchup with Prescott could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's contest on Monday. The Marauders came up short against the Badgers, falling 22-8. The Marauders haven't had much luck with the Badgers recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.

Carter Wacker and Logan Newell did some serious damage despite the final result: Wacker went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and two RBI, while Newell went a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs.

Mingus' record is now 8-15-1. As for Prescott, their win bumped their record up to 13-5.

Looking ahead, Prescott will challenge Bradshaw Mountain at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Mingus will be paying especially close attention to the Badgers' match: after the Badgers face off against the Bears, they'll take on Mingus again at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
