Basketball Game Preview: Hurley Tigers vs. Lockwood Tigers

We've got a battle between Tigers coming up. Hurley is coming into the match hot, having won their last four games.

Hurley is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Saturday. They strolled past Exeter with points to spare, taking the game 48-29.

Hurley had a senior duo take command as Madison Conrad dropped a double-double with 14 points and 11 boards and Jaema Schimmels went 7-for-16 on her way to 19 points in addition to five rebounds and three steals. That makes it eight consecutive games in which Schimmels has scored at least a third of Hurley's points. Another player making a difference was Dacia Grubbs, who posted six points and six rebounds.

Meanwhile, Lockwood came up short against Diamond last Friday, falling 51-29. The game marked the Tigers' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Lockwood has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 13-9 record this season. Hurley's victory bumped their record up to 19-9.
