Basketball Recap: Young Women's Leadership Gets the Win

Young Women's Leadership lost to South Bronx back in January, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Tuesday. Young Women's Leadership walked away with a 42-34 win over the South Bronx Phoenix.

Young Women's Leadership now has a winning record of 2-1. As for South Bronx, their defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 1-1.

Young Women's Leadership will face off against Riverdale/Kingsbridge Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for South Bronx, they will be playing at home against Mott Haven at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Mott Haven will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something South Bronx surely won't give up without a fight.
