Softball Recap: New Albany Eagles vs. Reynoldsburg Raiders

New Albany scored the most runs they've had all season to find success on Wednesday. Everything went their way against the Reynoldsburg Raiders as the New Albany Eagles made off with an 18-2 victory. New Albany might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team's won seven games by eight runs or more this season.

Maddie Morrison looked comfortable as she tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive pitching appearances.

On the hitting side, Bella Dues was a standout: she scored three runs and stole a base while getting on base in all five of her plate appearances. The team also got some help courtesy of Izzy White, who got on base in three of her five plate appearances with a home run, four RBI, and two runs.
