Bowie waltzed into their match on Tuesday with seven straight wins... but they left with eight. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 10-9 W against the Canyon Cougars. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Bulldogs also won the last time the pair played back in February of 2020.

Bowie's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-4. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.2 runs over those games. As for Canyon, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-6 record this season.

Bowie will face off against Lake Travis at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Bowie 3.6, Lake Travis 3.5) so any runs scored will be well earned. As for Canyon, they will square off against Clemens at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
