Volleyball Recap: Gary West Side Comes Up Short

Gary West Side was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 23rd straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the River Forest Ingots. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Cougars of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

The final score came out to 25-16, 25-8, 25-8.

Gary West Side's loss dropped their record down to 0-9. As for River Forest, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-16.

Looking ahead, Gary West Side will welcome Griffith at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for River Forest, they will venture away from home to take on Oregon-Davis at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
