Basketball Game Preview: Morrison Mustangs vs. Milledgeville Missiles

Morrison is on a four-game streak of home losses, Milledgeville a 14-game streak of away losses dating back to last season, but someone's luck will change on Wednesday. The Morrison Mustangs will welcome the Milledgeville Missiles at 6:45 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Last Thursday, Morrison had to suffer through a 42-13 loss at the hands of Amboy. While losing is never fun, the Mustangs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 649th, while the Clippers are ranked 238th).

Meanwhile, Milledgeville took a blow against Amboy last Tuesday, falling 54-15.

Morrison's defeat dropped their record down to 0-21. As for Milledgeville, their loss dropped their record down to 4-12.

Morrison suffered a grim 53-29 defeat to Milledgeville when the teams last played back in December of 2024. That contest was all but decided by halftime, at which point Morrison was down 40-16.
