Softball Recap: East Bladen Eagles vs. South Columbus Stallions

East Bladen took a seven-run loss the last time they faced off against South Columbus, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Eagles narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Stallions 9-8. That's two games straight that the Eagles have won by just one run.

Niyah Wooten was excellent, scoring a run while going 2-for-4. Another player making a difference was Taylor Dowless, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-3.

Wooten wasn't the only one working in the hit department: East Bladen kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. That's the most hits they've posted since back in April of 2024.
