Softball Recap: Fulton Takes a Loss

Fulton couldn't beat West Genesee on Wednesday even though they stacked five runs on them in the first inning. The Red Raiders came up short against the Wildcats, falling 18-5. The loss continues a trend for the Red Raiders in their meetings with the Wildcats: they've now lost five in a row.

Riley Trude was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-3 with one home run and three RBI. Ella Przychodzen was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two RBI.

Fulton's defeat dropped their record down to 10-4. As for West Genesee, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-11.

As of now, neither Fulton nor the Wildcats have any future games scheduled.
