Volleyball Recap: Nederland's Luck Changes for the Better on Saturday

Nederland came into Saturday's contest having lost seven straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They had just enough and edged out the Langham Creek Lobos 2-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Bulldogs have posted since August 21st.

Nederland's win bumped their record up to 10-13. As for Langham Creek, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-18 record this season.

Nederland didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Kingwood Park on the 6th. As for Langham Creek, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-1 defeat against Mayde Creek on the 6th.
