West Hills had to skate by with only a three-point margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 29-point drubbing they dealt El Cajon Valley on Thursday. The Wolf Pack breezed past the Braves to the tune of 42-13. The Wolf Pack haven't had any issues with the Braves recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive win against them.

West Hills' victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jacob Romeo, who rushed for 64 yards and two TDs on only six carries. Those two rushing touchdowns gave Romeo a new career-high. Julian DeBeneditto was another key back, rushing for 98 yards and one touchdown on only ten carries.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: West Hills was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 269 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.

West Hills' win bumped their record up to 4-6. As for El Cajon Valley, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-8.
