Softball Recap: San Marcos Takes a Loss

San Marcos was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Johnson Jaguars, falling 17-9. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Jaguars this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 12-1 back in February.

San Marcos' loss dropped their record down to 9-12-2. As for Johnson, their win bumped their record up to 16-3-1.

Looking ahead, San Marcos will head out to face off against Clemens at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. San Marcos' pitchers better be ready for this one: Clemens has averaged an impressive 7.2 runs per game this season. As for Johnson, they will square off against La Vernia at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
