Volleyball Recap: Asrianna Bushman Key Part of Team Effort in Hawks Win

The Indian Trail Hawks made easy work of the Milwaukee Hamilton Wildcats on Thursday and carried off a 3-0 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Hawks.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Indian Trail took every set by at least 16 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-7, 25-9, 25-7.

Indian Trail got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Asrianna Bushman out in front who had eight assists and six aces. Those six aces gave Bushman a new career-high.

Bushman wasn't the only good servers: Indian Trail was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 25 aces. That's the most aces they've managed all season.

Indian Trail's record now sits at 28-9. As for Milwaukee Hamilton, their loss dropped their record down to 3-10.

Looking ahead, Indian Trail will square off against Racine Case at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Milwaukee Hamilton does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
