Preview: Sky View Bobcats vs. Green Canyon Wolves
The Sky View Bobcats will be playing in front of their home fans against the Green Canyon Wolves at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Sky View suffered their biggest loss yet this season on Thursday. They were outmatched by Ridgeline on the road and fell 68-33. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Sky View in their matchups with Ridgeline: they've now lost six in a row.
Meanwhile, Green Canyon's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their fourth straight loss. They fell 58-45 to Mountain Crest.
Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the most dominant came from Janalynn Blotter, who scored 16 points along with five rebounds and two steals. Marissa Best was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with five rebounds.
Sky View's defeat dropped their record down to 8-6. As for Green Canyon, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-6.
Sky View came up short against Green Canyon in their previous matchup back in February of 2023, falling 66-56. Thankfully for Sky View, Maren Mckenna (who dropped a double-double on 30 points and 16 rebounds) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
