Basketball Recap: Taylor Comes Up Short

Taylor lost against Connally back in February and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Taylor Ducks took a blow against the Connally Cadets, falling 49-21. The Ducks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Zakaya Frederick was Taylor's leading scorer, having posted seven points. Tiana Candee held things down on the boards with 11 rebounds. Kionayh Rivers took the lead distributing the ball, coming up with three assists.

Taylor's loss dropped their record down to 4-11. As for Connally, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-10.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Little River Academy the next time they take the court. Connally will head out to face Little River Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, while Taylor will head out to face them at 10:30 a.m. on Friday.
