Volleyball Game Preview: Griswold Wolverines vs. Putnam Clippers + Official Tickets

Griswold is a perfect 9-0 against Putnam since October of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Wolverines will look to defend their home court against the Clippers at 5:00 p.m. Griswold is coming into the match hot, having won their last five games.

On Tuesday, Griswold earned a 3-1 win over Lyman Memorial.

Griswold had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 17-25, 25-23, 25-14, 25-14.

Carly Rubino had an outrageously good game as she had 19 digs and three aces. That's the most digs she has posted over her last nine matchups.

Meanwhile, Putnam was able to grind out a solid victory over Harvard Ellis Tech back in September, taking the game 3-1.

Putnam now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Griswold, their win bumped their record up to 14-6.

Everything went Griswold's way against Putnam in their previous meeting back in October of 2022, as Griswold made off with a 3-0 victory. Will the Wolverines repeat their success, or do the Clippers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
