Basketball Recap: Greenfield/Northwestern Comes Up Short

Greenfield/Northwestern played a tough game on Monday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were dealt a 65-36 defeat at the hands of the Pittsfield Saukees. The Tigers were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 42-13.

Greenfield/Northwestern's loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 8-18. As for Pittsfield, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 24-4.

Coming up, Greenfield/Northwestern won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Sangamon Valley/Tri-City at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Pittsfield does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
