Softball Recap: Granite City Warriors vs. Cahokia Comanches
Granite City can bid farewell to their five-game losing streak thanks to their game on Wednesday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Cahokia Comanches a 15-0 shutout. The Warriors have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Comanches, too.
Emilee Saggio made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Saggio was also big at the plate, getting on base in all three of her plate appearances with two RBI and one run.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Rachel Willaredt, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with three RBI, two runs, and one stolen base. Those three RBI gave her a new career-high.
