Basketball Recap: San Perlita Takes a Loss

San Perlita was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a blow against the Economedes Jaguars, falling 73-40. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Trojans this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 73-38 on Tuesday.

San Perlita's defeat dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Economedes, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 13-8 record this season.

San Perlita won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Jubilee Brownsville at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Jubilee Brownsville knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past five contests -- so hopefully San Perlita likes a good challenge. As for Economedes, they will be home for the holidays to greet Hanna at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
