Soccer Recap: McKinley Comes Up Short

McKinley lost against Ravenna back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Red Dragons lost 5-1 to the Ravens. McKinley were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 4-0.

Their goal came courtesy of Logan Bird, which was the first he's scored this season.

McKinley's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Ravenna, they picked up their first road win, bumping their record up to 2-4-1.

Looking ahead, McKinley will venture away from home to take on South Range at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Ravenna, they will head out to face off against Springfield at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Springfield will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more goals each contest than the last.
