Garrison came into Friday's game looking for another win against Arp, but Zane Bourque wouldn't allow it. The Tigers blew past the Bulldogs 44-9 on Friday with plenty of help from Bourque, who rushed for 92 yards and a pair of TDs on only 12 carries, and also threw for 88 yards and one touchdown on only six passes. His longest rush was for an impressive 57 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.

Arp didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Cp Pierce and Ty Langley. Pierce got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Arp has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 9 points this season. As for Garrison, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Looking ahead, Arp is taking a road trip to take on Mineola at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Garrison, they will host Anahuac at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
