Volleyball Recap: Ragland Takes a Loss

Ragland lost against Ashville back in August and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Purple Devils took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bulldogs.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-12.

Ragland has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-7 record this season. As for Ashville, their win was their 22nd straight at home, which pushed their record up to 44-6.

Coincidentally, Ragland and Ashville will both be playing Corner the next time they take the court. The Bulldogs will host the Yellow Jackets at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Purple Devils will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
