Baseball Recap: MacArthur Takes a Loss

MacArthur lost against Lincoln last Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Generals came up short against the Railsplitters, falling 7-1.

MacArthur saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Monroe Gregurich, who went 2-for-3 with one double.

MacArthur dropped their record down to 4-21 with the defeat, which was their tenth straight on the road. As for Lincoln, they have been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 14-16 record this season.

MacArthur didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 9-2 loss against Rochester on the 28th. As for Lincoln, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 13-2 victory against Lanphier on the 24th.
