Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Shadle Park). They blew past the Riverside Rams 6-1 on Friday. The high-scoring effort was just what Shadle Park needed considering they were shut out in their previous game.

Shadle Park's victory ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-7. As for Riverside, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-4.

Shadle Park and Riverside will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next matchups. The next time the Highlanders see the pitch they'll take on Mead at 6:30 p.m. on the 16th. As for Riverside, their break will end when they face Northwest Christian School at 4:00 p.m. on the 15th.
