While Prairie View Academy's victory against Briarfield Academy wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Spartans never let the Rebels get on the board and left with a 2-0 win on Monday. The victory was nothing new for the Spartans as they're now sitting on six straight.

The team relied heavily on Peyton Robinson, who scored a run and stole a base while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. He also hit a double, marking his first of the season.

Prairie View Academy pushed their record up to 6-2 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. The road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.7 runs on average over those games. As for Briarfield Academy, their loss ended an eight-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 13-5.

As of now, neither Prairie View Academy nor the Rebels have any future games scheduled.
