Baseball Recap: Middlesboro Comes Up Short

Middlesboro lost to Harlan County on Monday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Yellowjackets took a 7-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Black Bears. The Yellowjackets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Middlesboro's defeat dropped their record down to 4-11. As for Harlan County, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 8-11.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Middlesboro will head out to square off against Williamsburg at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Harlan County, they will venture away from home to face off against Leslie County at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
