Jayce Baker posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Wednesday. As a matter of fact, he turned in his biggest game of the season, striking out 14 batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't tossed less than eight strikeouts in four consecutive appearances.
