Volleyball Recap: Fremd Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Fremd can now relate to. They fell just short of the Niles West Wolves by a score of 2-1 on Tuesday. The Vikings were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Wolves apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in May of 2024.

Fremd's defeat dropped their record down to 16-16. As for Niles West, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-11 record this season.

Fremd does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Niles West, they will challenge Maine South at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Hawks will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something the Wolves surely won't give up without a fight.
