Volleyball Recap: Atascadero Takes a Loss

Atascadero lost against Pioneer Valley last Saturday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Atascadero Greyhounds fell just short of the Pioneer Valley Panthers by a score of 1-0.

Atascadero may have fallen short, but they were sure consistent: they scored 18 points in every single set they played. The final score came out to 25-18.

Atascadero's defeat dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Pioneer Valley, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-10.

Looking ahead, Atascadero will take on Santa Maria at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Atascadero is facing Santa Maria at the right time seeing as Santa Maria is stuck on a nine-game losing streak. As for Pioneer Valley, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 1-0 loss against Fresno Christian on the 8th.
