Basketball Recap: Goshen Extends Home Winning Streak to Three

Concord came into Thursday's contest looking for another win against Goshen, but Levi Sawatzky wouldn't allow it. The Goshen RedHawks secured a 59-53 W over the Concord Minutemen on Thursday thanks in part to Sawatzky, who went 8 of 13 on his way to 20 points. He is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last four games he's played.

Goshen's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-5. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.3 points per game. As for Concord, their loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 7-4.

Goshen has already played their next match, a 52-35 win against Elkhart Christian Academy on the 14th. As for Concord, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 39-30 victory against New Prairie on the 11th.
