Baseball Recap: Fraser Takes a Loss

Fraser's last matchup with Anchor Bay could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's match on Saturday. The Ramblers lost 11-2 to the Tars. The defeat continues a trend for the Ramblers in their meetings with the Tars: they've now lost three in a row.

Fraser saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Camden Townsend, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one double.

Fraser's loss dropped their record down to 15-13. As for Anchor Bay, the win (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 16-9.

Fraser and Anchor Bay should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Michigan Rankings. The Ramblers (ranked 204th) will meet Mott (ranked 439th) at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Anchor Bay will take on L'Anse Creuse at 4:00 p.m. on Monday with a big rank advantage (92 vs. 315).
