Eudora is 8-2 against Tonganoxie since January of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Eudora Cardinals will head out to challenge the Tonganoxie Chieftains at 7:00 p.m. Eudora knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past three games -- so hopefully Tonganoxie likes a good challenge.

Eudora is probably headed into the match with a chip on their shoulder considering Ottawa just ended the team's four-game winning streak on Friday. They fell 65-56 to the Cyclones. While losing is never fun, the Cardinals can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Kansas basketball rankings (they are ranked 84th, while the Cyclones are ranked sixth).

Meanwhile, Tonganoxie was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were six points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 56-50 heartbreaker at the hands of Turner.

Tonganoxie's defeat dropped their record down to 3-10-1. As for Eudora, their loss dropped their record down to 6-5.

Eudora didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Tonganoxie when the teams last played back in December of 2024, but they still walked away with a 52-46 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Eudora since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
