Volleyball Recap: Humble Christian Cougars vs. Banff Bears
After flying high against True North last Tuesday, Humble Christian came back down to earth. The Humble Christian Cougars fell 3-1 to the Banff Bears on Thursday. The Cougars were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bears apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2023.
After all that action, the final score was 25-15, 23-25, 25-23, 25-20.
Humble Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 15-6. As for Banff, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 13-4.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Humble Christian will face off against Faith Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Banff, they will challenge School of the Woods at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Banff is facing School of the Woods at the right time seeing as School of the Woods is stuck on a 14-game losing streak.
