Seabreeze hasn't had much luck against Spruce Creek recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Sandcrabs will be taking part in a tournament against the Hawks at 6:00 p.m. Both teams are coming into the game red-hot, with Seabreeze sitting on three straight victories and Spruce Creek on nine.
Seabreeze saw some tournament action on Wednesday. They came out on top against Atlantic by a score of 9-6.

Tommy Hayes looked comfortable as he tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. What's more, he posted three strikeouts, the most he's had since back in February.
At the plate, Seabreeze got a big performance out of Caiden Smith, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-5. That's the most runs Smith has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Wrigley Zweifel, who scored a run while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances.
Seabreeze was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .394. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.
Meanwhile, it was close, but on Wednesday Spruce Creek sidestepped New Smyrna Beach for an 8-6 win. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Hawks have posted against the Barracudas since March 5, 2021.
Cooper West looked comfortable as he tossed 2.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two hits in three consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Lamar Edwards was incredible, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. Seamus Moylan also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.
Seabreeze pushed their record up to 12-9 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. The road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.0 runs on average over those games. As for Spruce Creek, their record is now 19-2.
Seabreeze might still be hurting after the 10-0 loss they got from Spruce Creek in their previous meeting back in March. Can the Sandcrabs avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
