Softball Recap: Lowell Comes Up Short

Lowell was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 16-0 to the Oakland Oakers. The matchup marked the first time this season in which the Devils were not able to get on the board.

Lowell's defeat dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Oakland, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-3.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Lowell is set to challenge their familiar foe Oakridge at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Oakland will take on rival North Douglas at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
