             Vian is on a six-game streak of home wins, while Beggs is on a three-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. The Vian Wolverines will welcome the Beggs Demons  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
 Vian is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup  on Friday. They really took it to Kansas for the full four quarters, racking up  a  38-7 win. The  contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached  21-0.
  Masyn Wright was  his usual excellent self, rushing for 156 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 8.7 yards per carry. He is  on a roll when it comes to  rushing touchdowns, as he's  now  punched in two or more in the last 13 games he's  played dating back to last season.
 Vian was unstoppable on the ground and  finished the game with 222  rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  rushed for at least 168  rushing yards in 11 consecutive  matchups.
 Meanwhile, Beggs got themselves on the board against Alva on Friday, but Alva never followed suit. They blew past the Goldbugs, posting  a  43-0 victory.
 Vian's win bumped their record up to 11-0. As for Beggs, their victory bumped their record up to 9-2.
 Vian might still be hurting after the  44-24 loss they got from Beggs  when the teams last played  back in November of 2021. Can Vian avenge their  defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
