Basketball Recap: Cherry Extends Home Winning Streak to 22

Cherry waltzed into their contest on Saturday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They blew past the North Woods grizzlies, posting a 104-40 win. Given the Tigers' advantage in MaxPreps' Minnesota basketball rankings (they are ranked 18th, while the grizzlies are ranked 298th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Cherry pushed their record up to 27-1 with the victory, which was their 22nd straight at home dating back to last season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 89.8 points over those games. As for North Woods, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-15.
