Baseball Recap: Nash Central Takes a Loss

The Nash Central Bulldogs came up short against the Hickory Hawks on Monday, falling 11-1.

Nash Central saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Avery Flowers, who went 1-for-2 with one run.

Nash Central has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-8 record this season. As for Hickory, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-5.

Nash Central wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 7-2 victory against Manteo on the 7th. As for Hickory, they have also already played their next contest, a 16-1 win against Lawrence Academy on the 7th.
