Basketball Recap: Brunswick Takes a Loss

Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Brunswick couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They came up short against the Buffalo Gap Bison on Friday, falling 55-30. While losing is never fun, the Bulldogs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Virginia basketball rankings (they are ranked 226th, while the Bison are ranked 88th).

With the defeat, Brunswick broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 17-5. As for Buffalo Gap, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-4 record this season.
